Purpose:
Provides support in web launches that requires web publishing involvement. Responsible for the coordination of web publishing efforts in launches, allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.
Creates and edits web pages published in Freescale.com following the established processes and exceeding all the client requirements.
Utilizes corporate and external tools to follow the proper processes during all the publishing cycle, from receiving the request in the standard ticket system to perform the job requested in the implemented content management system.


General Characteristics
Education
Bachelor’s Degree/Higher Diploma
Experience
Leadership: Leading team efforts in projects and operations.
Technical: Developing web pages using HTML, CSS, javascript and CMS implementation.
Technical Skills
HTML: Knowledge of common tags, structure elements, character entities and integration with styles in CSS.
CSS: Basic understanding of CSS declarations and correlation with HTML tags and entities.
JavaScript: Entry level of JavaScript, basic functions and correlation with CSS and HTML. JQuery knowledge is a plus.
Languages
Spanish: Oral, Written.
English: Oral 90%, Written 95%.

Responsibilities

Publishing
Execution: Follow publishing processes ensuring content guidelines and best practices Communication: Highlight process issues and escalate any deviation
Applications
Report: Report system issues to Web Publishing Team Leader
Testing: Test correct CR implementation and system general functionality after each code release
Product Web Launches
Planning: Resource planning and allocation, manage launch publishing schedule Execution: Web publishing, verify effective launch, focused testing
